The photography world will join the world’s elite but staging the first ever [tag]World Photography Awards[/tag] (WPA) at the prestigious Cote d’Azur, [tag]Cannes[/tag] in April 2008. The competition, sponsored by [tag]Sony[/tag], is open to professional and amateur photographers alike. With eleven categories, photographers are encouraged to submit their work for judging by renowned photographers such as [tag]Martin Parr[/tag], [tag]Mary Ellen Mark[/tag] and [tag]Tom Stoddart[/tag] to name a few. Entries can be submitted from now until the 31st January 2008.
